She was towed in by the deep sea tug "TSM-Kermor" and assisted by the local harbour tug "Reasure", supplied by Newhaven Company Sub-Search Marine.
The Excalibur has been into Newhaven several times over the past 7 years, jacking-up on her legs alongside the western promenade.
There will now be about a week of activity whilst the vessel de-mobilises from her previous job on the east coast and will then be laid-up for several months before going off to her next project.
During the demob works, the eastern end of the promenade will need to be fenced off for safety and security reasons as large cranes and trucks will be moving in and out.
