Now that the refurbishment of the interior of the ferry terminal has been completed to make our visitors experience that more pleasant and comfortable, works have commenced on the new roadway layouts to improve traffic flow, new check in booths for the freight traffic and a new tourist car park.
Locals and regular customers will have noticed that the old 1950's concrete wall next to the Bus Interchange area has been demolished and will be replaced with neater looking fencing. Lighting and CCTV coverage is also being improved.
Most of these works will be completed by the end of October.
